Our foundation has been selected both for genetics and phenotype. Each dog has been imported from a separate country for lineage diversity. All have been DNA health-tested clear (n/n) of the GM1 disease which occurs in this breed. Despite the Shiba's reputation for bad behavior, our dogs have proven to be affectionate, loyal, and easily trained. We raise pups without forsaking the health and happiness of our dogs as pets first and foremost. Temperament is considered very important in our program.
